Tunisian legal-tech startup Juridoc has raised an undisclosed amount from 216 Capital and Go Big Partners to accelerate its expansion across Africa and the Middle East.
Founded in 2021 by Assali Kais, Maya Boureghda Chebeane and Anis Wahabi, Juridoc is modernising legal services by providing an AI-powered search engine that helps legal professionals quickly access legislation, case law, and legal insights.
Already operating in Tunisia and Senegal, Juridoc boasts a database of 252,000 legal documents, 325,000 successful searches, and over 4,000 paid users. With this funding, the company plans to enhance its AI technology, expand its legal content to fit new markets, and scale adoption through marketing and commercial efforts.
CEO Assali emphasised Juridoc’s mission to democratize legal information, stating that the platform fills a critical gap for legal professionals across West Africa and the Middle East.
Investor Dhekra Khelifi of 216 Capital Ventures praised Juridoc’s digital innovation, highlighting its potential to transform legal access in high-demand markets.
