Africa-born startup Rwazi has raised USD 12 M in Series A funding to grow its AI-powered “decision copilot,” a tool that helps companies track what’s changing in real time, what to do next, and what results to expect.
Launched in 2018 and now operating globally, Rwazi collects data directly from everyday consumers through a mobile app. This lets brands understand who’s buying what, from where, when, and why—both online and in stores—helping them make better business choices.
“For decades, decisions have been driven by instinct. But gut calls are expensive and in today’s market, they’re dangerous,” said co-founder and CEO Joseph Rutakangwa. Rwazi wants to make sure teams stop guessing and start knowing.
The new funds will help Rwazi deepen its AI engine, improve how it recommends next steps, and expand its data reach across more countries.
