Egypt’s Business For Teens Raises Pre-Seed Funding To Expand Youth Entrepreneurship
Egypt’s Business For Teens Raises Pre-Seed Funding To Expand Youth Entrepreneurship

Egyptian edtech startup Business For Teens has closed a six-figure pre-seed funding round to scale its entrepreneurship and financial literacy programmes for teenagers across Egypt and the Gulf.

Founded in 2024 by Nadeem Barakat, the Cairo-based company targets students aged 10–16, offering hands-on entrepreneurship training, real-life business projects, and mentorship from industry professionals.

The raise follows early traction across the region. Since launch, Business For Teens has partnered with more than 10 schools in Egypt and Saudi Arabia, reaching over 600 students through structured programmes and student-led bazaars that translate classroom learning into practical experience.

The round was led by Salah Abou Elmagd, alongside a group of angel investors. The capital will support programme expansion, deeper school partnerships, and operational growth. The startup plans to train over 6,000 students and expand to 30+ schools by the end of 2026.
