HyperDev Raises USD 1 M Pre-Seed To Expand AI Software Development Platform

HyperDev, a South Africa-founded generative AI software development platform, has raised just over USD 1 M (ZAR 16 M) in pre-seed funding from a syndicate of UK- and Europe-based venture capital investors.

Founded in 2026 by Riaz Moola, Piotr Sobolewski, and Anton Moulder, the company has an engineering base in South Africa and commercial operations across the UK and Europe. HyperDev helps users turn AI-generated code into fully deployed applications through its proprietary Guided Mode, targeting both developers and non-technical users.

The platform has attracted nearly 100,000 users within three months of launch and is integrated with HyperionDev to support AI-assisted software development and coding education. The funding will expand its engineering team and accelerate product development.
