ChipMango Raises USD 1.9 M To Expand African Chip-Design Talent Globally

ChipMango, a semiconductor engineering startup founded in 2022 by CEO Ola Fadiran and Jovan Andjelich, has raised USD 1.9 M in seed funding led by Atlantica Ventures, with participation from DFS Labs, Madica, Kaleo Ventures, Trilinear Technologies, and Malta Ventures.

Headquartered in California, with major operations and design centres in Lagos, Nigeria, ChipMango trains African engineers while delivering chip-design projects for global customers

The company will use the funding to expand its engineering and product teams and grow across Africa, Europe, and the US. It also plans to establish a design centre in Malta and support semiconductor workforce and AI infrastructure initiatives in Rwanda. Fadiran and Andjelich previously worked at companies including Tesla, Google, Intel, and Boeing.
