Egyptian EdTech startup 3C Coding School has raised USD 3 M in seed funding led by MRG Economic Group, with participation from investor Amr Saad and strategic angel investors.
Founded in 2015 by engineers Hossam Hosny and Ahmed Khallaf, 3C is based in Cairo, Egypt, and provides coding, AI, machine learning, software development, data science, game development and cybersecurity education for children and young people.
The platform says it has reached more than 120,000 students and recorded 230% revenue growth. 3C will use the funding to expand into Saudi Arabia, strengthen its infrastructure and develop an AI-powered personalised learning platform that adapts content to students’ progress and learning pace. The company aims to scale its model across the wider MENA region.
