Egyptian fintech Zeal has raised USD 10 M in funding to accelerate its international expansion, bringing its total funding to USD 14 M.
Founded in 2019 by Omar Ebeid and Belal Mohamed and based in Cairo, Egypt, Zeal develops software that integrates with existing payment terminals, allowing physical retailers to identify and reward customers at checkout while turning transactions into customer data.
The company works with partners across the UK and Europe, the Middle East and Latin America, and has signed acquirer contracts covering more than 4 million payment terminals globally. Zeal will use the latest funding to activate this pipeline and scale its payment-linked loyalty, customer identification and analytics infrastructure. The company previously raised USD 4 M in 2024.
