Cold Solutions Rwanda Secures Up To USD 18 M For Kigali Cold-Chain Facility

Cold Solutions Rwanda, a Kigali-based cold-chain infrastructure company founded in 2025, has secured a senior debt facility of up to USD 18 M from the Africa Go Green Fund (AGG), managed by Cygnum Capital.

The company, established as the Rwanda operating platform of ARCH Cold Chain Solutions East Africa Fund, provides temperature-controlled storage, packhouse services and refrigerated logistics for perishable goods.

The financing will fund construction and working capital for a new facility in Kigali’s Prime Economic Zone, which will initially offer 4,000-pallet capacity, expandable to 8,000 pallets.

Cold Solutions Rwanda already operates a temperature-controlled packhouse with an avocado processing line and refrigerated transport services. The expansion aims to reduce post-harvest losses, improve supply-chain efficiency and strengthen Rwanda’s agricultural exports.
