Egypt-Founded Startup Atta Acquired By Replit To Add Data Analysis Tools

Atta, an Egypt-founded business analysis and charting startup, has been acquired by US-based software company Replit in a deal announced on September 25, 2026. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Founded by Omar Shaik and Amine Ben Khalifa, Atta develops interactive charting technology that helps businesses analyse data and present insights through adaptable, consistent visualisations.

Following the acquisition, Atta’s technology has been integrated into Replit, allowing users to upload datasets or connect data sources and generate interactive charts directly through Replit’s chat interface without writing SQL.

Both Atta founders are joining Replit as part of the deal. The acquisition gives Replit, founded in 2016 and headquartered in San Francisco, additional data-analysis capabilities as it expands its agentic software creation platform.
