Ugandan Energy Startup GnuGrid Secures USD 250K To Connect Off-Grid Solar Companies

Ugandan energy startup gnuGrid has received funding of USD 250 K from US-based investors. The funding will help the startup to expand its customer base and connect off-grid solar companies with Uganda’s Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).

Founded in 2019, gnuGrid uses artificial intelligence in developing and automating solar systems in Uganda and beyond. It helps solar companies operate at a lower cost, providing predictive analytics, data management and digital payment services.
