Nigerian fintech startup, Flutterwave, has raised USD 170 Mn in a record-breaking series C round led by Tiger Global and Avenir Growth Capital. Other investors who participated include DST Global, Greycroft Capital, Early Capital Berrywood, Green Visor Capital, Insight Ventures, PayPal, Salesforce Ventures, Tiger Management, and WorldpayFIS 9yards Capital. The startup earns a unicorn status with this funding round.
