Egyptian Startup NowPay Joins Y Combinator’s 2021 Batch, Raises Pre-Series A Funding

Egyptian fintech startup, NowPay, has been selected into Y Combinator’s Winter 2021 batch, securing USD 125 K in funding and further support. The startup also raises new fund in a pre-series A round from Global Ventures, Endure Capital, BECO Capital, Foundation Ventures, and Abderahman ElSewedy.

Launched in 2019, NowPay provides financial assistance to corporate employees, helping them manage their finance and save ahead of financial stress. It connects with employers of different companies, and gets their employees paid in advance through its mobile application.
