Sierra Leonean Company Capitol Foods Secures USD 1 Mn From Dutch Impact Investors

A food & beverage company based in Sierra Leone, Capitol Foods Ltd., secured USD 1 Mn in debt financing from Dutch impact investors, Cordaid Investment Management and Triodos-Hivos Fund.

Capitol Foods Ltd. produces bottled water and natural fruit juice by sourcing fruits directly from the farm to make production. The company plans to use the fund to expand its fruit processing capacity by getting machinery that can process more tonnes of fruit daily.
