Kenyan e-Health Startup TIBU Raises Seed Funding Round

TIBU, a Kenyan e-health startup, has raised a seed funding round of an undisclosed amount to help it scale its operations. The funding comes from Blue Haven Initiative and Kepple Africa Ventures.

TIBU is an on-demand network that links patients to healthcare workers in real-time, who deploy to a place and time of the patient’s choice. The new funding will be used to source great local software engineering talent and set up a high-tech micro-laboratory to process its clients’ samples in-house.
