Ghanaian Agritech Startup WamiAgro Raises USD 227 K Funding

Wami Agro Limited (WamiAgro), an AgriTech that aids farmers in rural Ghana, has received GHS 2.21 million (USD 227 K) from The Wangara Green Ventures, an impact investment fund in Ghana.

Wami seeks to migrate cooperatives unto a digital platform (web app) which would serve as a marketplace for cooperatives. The investment will allow Wami Agro to offer training, input loans, and access to markets to smallholder farmers throughout the grains value chains.
