Nigerian Startup Vendease Secures USD 30 Mn Series A Round

YC-backed food procurement platform Vendease has raised USD 30 Mn in Series A funding, split between USD 20 Mn in equity and USD 10 Mn debt. The round was co-led by TLcom Capital and Partech Africa, with participation from VentureSouq, Hustle fund, Hack VC, GFR Fund, Kube VC, Magic Fund, and Kairos Angels.

Vendease assists food businesses in growing by digitizing procurement processes, storage operations, transportation, and flexible payment systems. The startup has developed mobile and web apps that allow food businesses to place orders for food and supplies, manage inventory, track expenses, and access credit facilities.
