By  |  December 13, 2023

Egyptian life sciences and biotech startup Nawah Scientific has received a US-FDA accreditation for food analysis, making it the first African entity to receive such accreditation. This milestone makes it one the first African centers to achieve such accreditation, and saving Egyptian and African companies the cost and time of sending samples for analysis outside the continent.

Nawah looks to empower scientific research and scientists in Egypt as well as the wider region. The company enables its business clients to conduct formulation development and stability studies, as well as all raw material and finished products quality control checks. Nawah Scientific now plans to leverage the new accreditation to expand into key African markets such as Nigeria and South Africa.
