Egyptian EdTech Farid Platform Raises USD 250 K

Egyptian edtech startup Farid raised USD 250 K in a pre-Seed funding round from Saudi businesswoman Amal bint Abdulaziz Al-Ajlan.

Founded in 2024 by Mahmoud Hussein, the Farid platform focuses on character education and mental health support for children and youth aged 3 to 18. Farid aims to expand regionally by launching the platform in more schools and educational institutions in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and the UAE. The platform aims to increase the number of subscribers to 20,000 over the next two years.
