Egypt’s Nanovate Raises USD 1 M Pre-Seed To Scale Arabic AI Across MENA

Nanovate, a Cairo-based artificial intelligence startup, has raised USD 1 M in a pre-seed funding round led by a group of angel investors, with participation from MINT Incubator and Raya FutureTECH Accelerator.

Founded in January 2025 by Nancy Madbouly and Ahmed Gamal, Nanovate develops end-to-end Arabic AI solutions, including conversational agents, voice systems, and automation tools tailored to 22 regional dialects across the MENA region.

The startup aims to make AI more accessible to Arabic-speaking businesses through localised natural language models and integrations with enterprise tools such as CRMs and ERPs.

Nanovate plans to use the new funding to expand into Saudi Arabia and the UAE, strengthen its AI R&D, and grow its technical team.
