GSMA Concludes a Successful MWC25 Kigali
MWC25 Kigali concluded today following three days of successful collaboration, innovation and thought leadership. This year’s edition convened senior policymakers, industry leaders, and development partners united by a shared commitment to advance Africa’s digital transformation through coordinated action across governments, industry and the development community.
Across the conference stages, exhibition halls and the inaugural GSMA Ministerial Programme, participants underscored the importance of partnership in accelerating universal connectivity and addressing key barriers such as handset affordability, energy resilience and inclusive artificial intelligence (AI).
The event showcased Africa’s growing leadership in digital innovation, highlighting transformative solutions driving progress across fintech, education, health and manufacturing. It also featured the launch of the Mobile Economy Africa 2025 Report, which revealed how mobile connectivity continues to power economic growth and unlock new opportunities for digitalisation across industries.
