South African AI Startup Ageiro Raises USD 3 M To Push Autonomous Enterprise Apps

South African enterprise AI startup Ageiro has raised USD 3 M to accelerate its push toward what it calls “humanity’s last app:” an agentic AI platform that converts business intent directly into production-ready software.

The company’s system turns high-level goals into autonomous digital execution, allowing enterprises to build and evolve applications in days instead of months, while freeing engineering teams for higher-value work.

CEO Paulo Matos says the platform marks a fundamental shift in how software is made, offering “enterprise autonomy with enterprise discipline” as businesses seek faster development cycles and AI-driven productivity gains.

The new funding will be used to strengthen Ageiro’s decision-intelligence models, compliance and risk frameworks, and connector systems for regulated industries. Ageiro will also scale its go-to-market efforts as it positions autonomous application development and digital workforces as a core enterprise software strategy.
