HAVAÍC Secures USD 30 M+ As African Innovation Fund 3 Hits Third Close

HAVAÍC has announced the third close of its USD 50 M African Innovation Fund 3, securing over USD 30 M in commitments following a new investment from E Squared Investments.

Founded in 2015 and headquartered in Cape Town, HAVAÍC focuses on backing post-revenue, high-growth African technology startups with regional and global ambitions.

Launched in March 2023, Fund 3 has deployed USD 10 M across eight companies, including fintechs SAPay and Entersekt, with follow-on investments in Sportable and Talk360. The fund targets up to 15 investments and is on track to reach its final close in August 2026, following a banner year marked by landmark exits, including RapidDeploy and hearX.
