Launch Africa Ventures Invests In 15 New Startups In 2026

Launch Africa Ventures, a Mauritius-based pan-African venture capital firm founded in 2020 by Zachariah George and Janade du Plessis, has completed 15 new investments in the first half of 2026, reinforcing its position as one of Africa’s most active early-stage investors.

The firm invests in pre-seed to pre-Series A startups across fintech, healthtech, agritech, logistics, edtech and enterprise software.

Its latest investments include Agridex, Udu Technologies, Fincart, Tayar, Khaime, Anavid, Mainstack, Growwr, Yamify, Legendary Foods and Masunga, alongside follow-on investments in existing portfolio companies.

Launch Africa now backs more than 180 startups across 25 African countries, supporting founders with follow-on funding, partnerships and access to a network of over 400 limited partners.
