Morocco’s ORA Technologies Raises Additional USD 2 M, Extending Series A To USD 10 M

Moroccan super app ORA Technologies has extended its Series A funding round to USD 10 M after raising an additional USD 2 M from local investors.

Founded in 2023 by Omar Alami, the Casablanca-based startup operates a multi-service platform offering peer-to-peer payments, e-commerce, on-demand services, messaging, and social networking. The latest funding follows its initial Series A round led by Azur Innovation Fund alongside three strategic local investors.

ORA will use the fresh capital to accelerate the expansion of its KOUL food delivery platform and ORA Cash digital wallet across Morocco. The company aims to strengthen its position in the country’s digital commerce and fintech sectors by expanding cashless payments and online service offerings.
