Moroccan Legaltech Charikaty Closes Pre-Seed Round At USD 3.5 M Valuation
Moroccan Legaltech Charikaty Closes Pre-Seed Round At USD 3.5 M Valuation

Charikaty, a Moroccan legaltech startup, has closed a pre-seed round at a EUR 3 M (USD 3.5 M) valuation to expand its business lifecycle services beyond company incorporation.

Founded in 2024 by Amr Mouaqit and Driss Sijelmassi and based in Morocco, Charikaty enables entrepreneurs to incorporate businesses online, including SARL, SARL AU, SAS, and foreign subsidiaries, while also providing accounting, compliance, trademark filing, domiciliation, and dissolution services.

The round attracted Dubai-based Red Tape Ventures, Mastercard Kuwait executive Faris Al-Obaid, Saudi footballer Faris Abdi, and other undisclosed investors. The latest funding follows a USD 150 K raise Charikaty announced earlier this year.

Charikaty plans to launch new ventures, including website-building platform Webaty and an accounting and compliance service, before expanding into Egypt and the GCC. The startup also serves Morocco’s diaspora across more than 100 countries and says its incorporation process can take as little as three days.
