SAB Foundation Awarded USD 860 K To South African Innovators

SAB Foundation announced winners for the 10th Social Innovation and Disability Empowerment Awards. In first place for the Social Innovation Awards were both Meat Naturally and Agricool Finance as winners, while Leafline Washable Sanitary Wear won first place for the Disability Empowerment Awards. The three innovators were awarded USD 89 K each in grant funding.

Invisio AI won third place for the Social Innovation Awards receiving USD 58 K funding. Sipokuhle Community Development, Digital Interactive Educational Books, and Virecom won USD 34 K grant each as top three runner ups.

Other finalists who participated include Oyi Medical Card, Skyed, Healthforce, Umoya Foods, Word of Mouth, Zenzeleni Community Networks, Respo, MALII, Para-Tube, and Carel Du Toit Trust E-Training Platform.
