Zimbabwean Agritech Startup FarmHut Gets Seed Funding From Hult Prize

Zimbabwean Agritech startup, FarmHut, has secured USD 100 K seed capital from Hult Prize Foundation, a global incubation organisation. The investment coincides with the launch of its new website and WhatsApp-based chatbot.

Founded in 2018, FarmHut is a digital platform operating as an agri marketplace, connecting farmers to the market by placing their produce up for sale. The products offered include agro Inputs, poultry, seedlings, fresh vegetables and other farm produce.
