Tanda Raises Seed Funding To Expand Across Africa

Kenyan fintech startup, Tanda, closed an undisclosed amount of seed funding last month from HAVAIC, Zedcrest Capital, DFS Lab, Victor Asemota and 3 other investors. The startup also secured strategic partnerships with Mastercard and Interswitch to further accelerate this growth.

Tanda provides financial services to merchants, granting access to make utility payments, buy airtime, banking and insurance services across Africa. The platform enables digital service providers to serve their customers by connecting through commission-based agents.
