South African Startup myFanPark Secures Investment

myFanPark, a South African celebrity engagement platform, has received an undisclosed amount of funding from Seed South, a South African VC firm, as it works on a larger seed funding round to help it expand.

Users can request a bespoke shout-out video from their favorite celebrity, such as birthdays or celebratory messages, through the myFanPark platform. After payment, the celebrity has seven days to record the video message, which myFanPark then delivers to the fan via email and WhatsApp.
