Kenya Based Copia Global Announces New Leadership

B2B eCommerce platform focussing on small enterprises in East Africa recently announced its new leadership. Caren Robb will be the new Global Chief Financial Officer, while Mike King will be the new Chief Technology Officer. Dominic Dimba has also been appointed as Managing Director of East Africa.

Prior to joining Copia Global, Caren Robb worked with Standard Chartered, Woolworths, RCS, Jumo, Letshego, and Finca. She will be taking over the position from Dominic Dimba. Mike King has worked with large and small retailers across Europe and retail systems vendors. 

Earlier this year, Copia raised USD 50 M in Series C. In June this year, as the company diversified into offering financial services and products, it also onboarded Buhle Goslar as a Board Member. She is the CEO of South -African fintech Jumo.

Copia ventured into manufacturing its own rice and sugar for the Kenyan market. It unveiled its manufacturing unit in August this year.
