Nigeria’s Regxta Named Winner Of USD 10 K Pitch2Win Startup Competition

Nigerian fintech startup Regxta has been named winner of the fourth edition of the Pitch2Win startup competition, bagging USD 10 K in equity-free funding and an all-expenses-paid trip to IVS2024 Kyoto, one of Japan’s largest startup conferences.

Founded in 2021 by Rukayat Bello, Afis Bello, and Moses Obika, the startup has developed an inclusive digital platform that offers quick and easy access to financial services for unbanked individuals and micro-businesses in rural and peri-urban communities across Africa. The Sponsors’ Choice award went to pregnancy care service Preggify, which also won an all-expenses-paid trip to IVS2024 in Kyoto.
