South Africa’s Shiprazor Secures Funding from Launch Africa Ventures

South Africa-headquartered logistics startup Shiprazor has secured funding from Launch Africa Ventures, a pan-African early-stage VC. The funding amount was not disclosed.

Founded in 2022 by Sahil Affriya, an erstwhile African VC, Shiprazor is an innovative aggregator platform for e-commerce logistics in Africa. They connect online retailers with logistics providers and offer solutions that streamline operations, reduce costs, enhance visibility, and drive growth through an improved delivery experience.

Investment in Shiprazor is part of Fund II deployment by Launch Africa, which aims to raise USD 75 M for its Fund II. Launch Africa Ventures is the most active VC on the continent, with 16 investments made in H1 2024. Through their Fund I, they deployed USD 33 million in 133 startups.
