Senegal Startup Rubyx Receives USD 526 K Loan from Proparco

Lending-as-a-service startup Rubyx has secured a loan of USD 526 K from Proparco through its Bridge by Digital Africa program. This debt round follows a seed round of USD 790 K in 2022, and an extension round in March 2023 for USD 650 K from Saviu Ventures, leading up to the upcoming Series A round.

Founded in 2018 by Denis Moniotte and Thomas Carrié, Rubyx is an API-driven digital lending platform that enables service providers to launch innovative loan products rapidly. Rubyx facilitates the digital transformation of MFIs by utilizing customer data to provide credit scoring, streamline loan decisions, and enhance performance monitoring through a digital platform.
