Sanari Capital Closes USD 80 M Sanari 3S Growth Fund

Johannesburg-based private equity firm Sanari Capital has announced the final close of its Sanari 3S Growth Fund, raising approximately $80 million (c. R1.5 billion). The fund aims to invest in African medium-sized and mid-market businesses with high transformative potential and scalability across regional and global markets.

Founded in 2013, Sanari Capital provides growth capital to founder-led, owner-managed, and family-owned businesses. The firm focuses on sectors that exhibit regional and global growth opportunities, primarily in South Africa and select Sub-Saharan African countries.

The fund targets investments within the following parameters:

• Investment Size: Between USD 2.6 M and USD 13.3 M in single or multiple tranches.
• Enterprise Value: From USD 4 to USD 106.6 M.
• Geographies: South Africa and other Sub-Saharan African countries with regional or global growth prospects.
