Kenya’s Solarise Africa Raises USD 33.4 Mn Debt Funding

Kenya-based energy leasing company Solarise Africa has raised USD 33.4 Mn in debt funding. The Facility for Energy Inclusion (FEI) acted as lead arranger for the round and will provide USD 21.4 Mn of the total amount. It is being joined by Oikocredit (USD 7 Mn) and the Lion’s Head managed fund AfricaGoGreen Fund (USD 5 Mn).

Solarise Africa is a commercial and industrial energy leasing company that focuses on solar and other energy assets. The company provides smart financing via a selected group of partners. Solarise Africa will use the funding to expand its portfolio in Kenya and other selected African countries.
