Egyptian Cleantech NoorNation Raises Investment from KBW Ventures

Egypt-based climatetech NoorNation has received an undisclosed investment from KBW Ventures. This is KBW Ventures’ initial investment in Egypt’s startup ecosystem. Earlier this year, the startup raised funding from Catalyst Fund.

Founded in 2021 by Ragy Ramadan and Mohamed Khaled, NoorNation is in the renewable energy sector, focused on developing and manufacturing decentralized energy and water infrastructure solutions using technology. Its flagship product, LifeBox, is a solar-powered, self-contained, and fast-deployable unit that delivers clean energy and safe water to farming businesses located in remote areas in Egypt and Sub-Saharan Africa.
