Nigerian Fintech Klasha Raises USD 2 M From Existing Investors

Klasha, a global cross-border payments company, has secured an additional USD 2 M in funding from Klasha’s existing investors, including Alumni Ventures, Practical VC, Breega, Expert Dojo, My Asia VC, Resilience 17, and Magic Fund.

Founded in 2021 by Jess Anuna, Klasha facilitates seamless cross-border B2B payments through its virtual multi-currency accounts, collection and payout APIs, and cross-border wire services. The platform supports over 120 currencies, helping merchants save time and money.

Klasha previously raised a USD 2.4 M seed round in 2021, led by Greycroft and with participation from SeedcampBerrywood CapitalAVG Basecamp FundPractical VCPlug and Play, and First Round VC. In 2022, the company secured an additional USD 2.1 M seed extension led by Amex Ventures, Global Ventures, Greycroft, Seedcamp, Plug and Play, Berrywood Capital, and Breega.

With this latest funding, Klasha aims to expand its cross-border payment solutions further and enhance its services for merchants operating between Asia and Africa.
